Robert Peterson , M.D

Robert Peterson , M.D., is Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He has been Chief of Plastic Surgery at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children for over 10 years. Dr. Peterson has been practicing Plastic and Cosmetic surgery in Honolulu for over 15 years and was recently voted the "Best Cosmetic Surgeon" in Honolulu's "Best of the Best" survey. He is the cosmetic surgery for Dream Makeover Hawaii, and has been featured on the Discovery Health Channel's number one rated program: Plastic Surgery Before and After.

After graduating from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Peterson came to Hawaii for his general surgery residency at the University of Hawaii. He then went on to complete his plastic and reconstructive surgery training in the Baylor University program at the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. To prepare for practice in Hawaii, he completed fellowships in pediatric plastic surgery in Japan at Showa University, and in China at the Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital Microsurgery program.

Dr. Peterson will be performing Botox and Restylane injections, as well as Thermage and selective Laser treatments at the Wellness Institute. Eluned Mun, RN, MS

Eluned is the co-founder and Director of Skin Care at the Wellness Institute International. She has more than 20 years experience in professional skin care.

Eluned has a master's degree in pharmacology and a bachelors of science in nursing from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is currently a candidate for a PhD in physiology at the University of Hawaii.

Eluned has 18 years experience as a critical care nurse at Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Honolulu. Previous to her responsibilities at the Wellness Institute, she was an instructor of pathophysiology and pharmacology in the Health Sciences Department at Kapiolani Community College in Honolulu.

Joseph Pepping, PharmD

Dr. Joseph Pepping is the co-founder and president of the Wellness Institute International.

Joe graduated summa cum laude with a doctorate in pharmacology from the University of California, San Francisco. His undergraduate degree in molecular biology was obtained at the University of California, San Diego.

Dr. Pepping specializes in nutritional pharmacology and integrative medicine. His practice at the Wellness Institute focuses on "Active Prevention" Programs and Women's Health Issues, as well as Anti-Aging and Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Programs for both women and men. He has 8 years of clinical experience as the Assistant Director of the Integrative Medicine Service of a major Health Maintenance Organization in Hawaii.

Joe is a member of the Hawaii State Consortium for Integrative Healthcare and a credentialed diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management. He has held positions as an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the University of the Pacific, Stockton, California; Creighton University, Omaha, Nebraska; and Oregon State University, Corvallis. He gives regular presentations to medical students and residents at the University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Dr. Pepping has published several review articles in the field nutritional pharmacology. He is a member of the editorial review board of the Life Extension Foundation and the Natural Medicines Comprehensive Database, as well as a contributing editor for the American Journal of Health-Systems Pharmacists, American Health Consultants, and Consumer Reports on Health.
